Add Your Metin2 Server to Metin2PvpServarlar.com: Step by Step
Adding your server to Metin2PvpServarlar.com is free and takes a few minutes. But when it comes to attracting players, there's a big difference between a well-prepared listing and a form filled in a hurry. This guide walks you through every step of adding a server and shows you how to fill in each field.
What to prepare before you start
- Banner: 468×190 pixels recommended; max 2 MB, JPG, PNG or GIF.
- Server name: A memorable name between 5 and 50 characters.
- Your server's website: The address where players download the client and register (it must start with http:// or https://).
- Opening date, level range and server type
- Short and long description: See below for how to write them.
- Optional links: Discord, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
1. Create an account and open the control panel
You need an account to add a server. If you don't have one yet, you can create it in a few minutes on the register page. After logging in, go to the Add Server section of the control panel or open the add server page directly.
2. Upload a banner
The banner is your server's shop window on the lists. Players often click on a server just because of its banner. A good banner includes:
- The server name, large and easy to read
- The level range and server type (for example "1-99 Oldschool")
- The opening date or something current, like "New season"
- A clean background and text that stays readable even at a small size
3. Category, opening date and level range
- Category: Oldschool, Hardwork, Medium Hardwork, For VS or Newschool. The right category puts your server in front of the right players. We explain the differences in our server types guide.
- Opening date: If your server hasn't opened yet, you can pick a future date. That way it also shows up in the opening calendar.
- Level range: Enter the start and end level. Players also find servers through level pages such as 1-99 or 1-120.
4. Server name and links
Write the server name exactly the way you use it in your promotion; different spellings confuse players. In the Server Link field, enter the official website where players download the client and register. The Discord, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube links are optional. An active Discord link makes it easier for players to trust your server.
5. Supported languages
Tick the languages you offer support in. If you're open to players from other countries, saying so brings your server to a wider audience.
6. Keywords and descriptions
- Keywords: Words that describe your server, separated by commas. Example: 1-99, oldschool, pvp, hardwork, guild war.
- Short description (130–160 characters): Used as your server page's description in search engines, and also shown when your server is featured on the home page. Sum up your server's strongest point in one sentence. Example: "1-99 oldschool with a balanced economy, weekly guild wars and an active support team: we open on October 18 for fair, cheat-free Pvp, so come and join us!"
- Description (max 2,000 characters): Cover everything players want to know under clear headings: rates, systems, events, anti-cheat and your item shop policy.
The descriptions are entered in language tabs. If you write the text in other languages besides Turkish, your server is also presented better to players in those languages.
7. Save and check your server
Once you save the form, your server is submitted; depending on the site settings, it goes live right away or after a short admin review, and then appears in the list. On the My Servers page of the control panel you can see your server's status, edit its details and open the page players will see. To prevent abuse, one account can add one server every 24 hours.
Getting your server to the top
- Share your vote link: The ranking is built from player votes, and the votes reset every week. You'll find your server's vote link on the My Servers › API page. Share it on your website, your Discord and in game.
- Reward your voters: With the vote verification address on the API page, you can automatically give in-game rewards to players who vote.
- Add a backlink: Put one of the link codes from your server's edit page on your own website. On every day your link is verified, your server gets 100 likes and the "Verified" badge.
- Keep your listing up to date: Refresh your description and banner whenever there's a new season, event or update.
Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything to add a server?
No, adding a server and appearing on the list is free.
Can I change my server's details after adding it?
Yes. Select your server on the My Servers page of the control panel and update the banner, description, links and other details whenever you like.
Can I add the same server more than once?
No. Adding the same server more than once misleads the list and is against our rules. You can create a new listing for a different server; one account can add one server every 24 hours.
What should I do if my server shuts down?
You can delete your server on the My Servers page. That way players aren't sent to a closed server and the list stays reliable.
