What are Metin2 Pvp servers?

Metin2 Pvp servers are private servers: versions of Metin2 run by independent teams, separate from the official game. Each team sets its own EXP and drop rates, systems, events and rules, so two servers can feel like different games. Your official account and items do not carry over; every server is a fresh start.

Compared with the official servers, private servers are faster and far more varied. Some have you ready for Pvp within hours, others offer months of grinding, and some recreate the game as it was in the 2000s.

Server types

We sort servers into five categories based on pace and era, each with its own vote ranking:

• Hardwork (emek) servers: slow progression, gear earned by farming and a strong player economy.
• Medium Hardwork (orta emek) servers: farming still matters, but characters get strong much faster.
• For VS (vs'lik) servers: characters and gear come quickly, and the game revolves around duels, guild wars and events.
• Oldschool servers: classic maps and few systems, usually with a 1-99 or 1-105 cap.
• Newschool servers: costumes, pets, mounts, alchemy, shoulder sashes and the Lycan class, usually with a cap of 120 or more.

Level ranges

The range tells you where your character starts and how far it can grow. 1-99 servers keep the classic cap, 1-105 servers add a few levels of extra content, 1-120 servers use the modern cap, 55-120 servers skip the early game, and 65-250 servers offer a very long, farm-heavy climb.

How to choose a safe server

Use the vote ranking as a starting point, then look at the server itself:

• Download the client only from the server's official website.
• Use a unique password and ignore "free items" messages, which are usually phishing.
• Look for written rules, anti-cheat and an active GM team.
• Check that the Discord is active and the item shop is not pay-to-win.
• Be wary of unrealistic launch promises, and read player reviews.

Voting and the weekly reset

Lists are sorted by the votes each server received this week. You can vote for a server once every 24 hours, and every Friday at 20:59 Turkey time all counts go back to zero. The first five homepage slots may show paid VIP servers, always labelled "VIP"; the best servers page is sorted by votes alone. Full details are on our about and ranking rules page.
