Metin2 Server Backlink Bonus: Earn Daily Likes and Climb the List

Climbing the ranking doesn't always take a new campaign; sometimes one line of code on your website does the trick. The Metin2 server backlink bonus gives servers that link to Metin2PvpServarlar.com from their own website 100 likes a day and the "Verified" badge. Here's how to add the link, why it might not be found and how to keep the bonus coming.

What is the backlink bonus?

A backlink is a link from your website to ours. Add one of the ready-made codes from your server's edit page to your website, and our system checks for it every night. If the link is found, you get two things:

• 100 likes once a day: The bonus is added to your server's weekly vote counter. Since the lists are ordered by this counter, the bonus directly lifts your server's position.
• The "Verified" badge: Shown on the cards of servers whose link was verified in the last 7 days. It tells players the website really belongs to the server and openly links to our list.

Bonus votes reset with all other votes every Friday at 20:59 Turkish time (UTC+3); as long as your link stays up, they're added again daily. Adding rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored" to the link doesn't affect the bonus. You'll find all the rules on the About Us and Ranking Rules page.

Adding a backlink step by step

1. On the Control Panel › My Servers page, click your server's Edit button.
2. In the Backlink section of the page, you'll see three ready-made HTML codes: Text Only, Small Logo and Logo. Pick one and copy it as is.
3. Add the code to the page at the address in your server's Server Link field. That's where the check happens; for most servers, it's the home page. The footer or the voting section are good spots for the code.
4. Go back to the edit page and press the Check Backlink button. The message "Backlink found." shows the code is in the right place.
5. The bonus isn't added by this button but by the automatic nightly check. The next day, check your server's vote count and the badge on its card.

Which code should you choose?

All three count the same for the bonus; pick the one that best fits your design. Using the code unchanged is safest. If you change its look, don't touch the link address, because the system looks for the link to our site.

Why might the link not be found?

• Wrong page: If the code is on a different page from the address in the Server Link field (for example, only on your forum), the check won't see it. Move it to the page at that address.
• Link added with JavaScript: The check looks at the page's HTML source. A link injected with JavaScript after loading may be missed; put the code directly in the HTML.
• Commented out: Code wrapped in an HTML comment doesn't count.
• Protection service: If your website uses Cloudflare or a similar protection or forwarding service, add our site's address to your whitelist, as the panel also points out. Otherwise the check request may be blocked.
• Access problems: If your site is down or very slow during the check, you may miss that day's bonus.

Keep the bonus coming

• Don't forget the code when you redesign: The code is easily lost when you rebuild your site or change themes. Test with the Check Backlink button after every update.
• Update the panel when your address changes: If your website's address changes, update the Server Link field right away.
• Keep an eye on the badge: If the code is removed or your website becomes unreachable, the bonus stops, and the badge disappears on its own 7 days after the last verification.
• Combine it with player votes: The backlink bonus isn't enough on its own; the real strength comes from player votes. Don't forget to reward voters with the vote API and to share your vote link in your promotion efforts. Track your position on the best servers list every week, too.

Frequently asked questions

Do I still get the bonus if I add nofollow to the link?

Yes. Adding rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored" to the link doesn't affect the bonus or the badge.

Is the bonus added right away when I press Check Backlink?

No. The button only shows whether the code was found. The bonus is added once a day, if the automatic nightly check finds the link.

What happens if I remove the link?

The daily bonus stops, and the "Verified" badge disappears on its own 7 days after the last successful check. Bonus votes already added that week stay on the counter until the Friday reset, like all other votes.

Does the Verified badge show that my server is trustworthy?

The badge shows that the website openly links to our list and that this was verified within the last 7 days. It's no guarantee of game quality or safety; players decide based on reviews and their own experience.
