Metin2 Spider Dungeon and Queen Spider Guide
Entered from the Yongbi Desert, the Spider Dungeon gets harder floor by floor. The first floor is a popular grinding spot; further in, the Queen Spider awaits, and at the very end, the Spider Baroness. This guide covers the floors of the Metin2 Spider Dungeon, the entry requirements and the tricks for killing the Queen Spider. The information is based on the official servers; Pvp servers can change the floors, tickets and rewards.
Where is the Spider Dungeon and how do you reach each floor?
The dungeon's entrance is the Kuahlo Dong portal in the Yongbi Desert. You can reach the Yongbi Desert through the Old Man in the second villages or with the Teleporter.
| Floor | How do you get in? | Notable boss |
|---|---|---|
| 1st floor | Kuahlo Dong portal in the Yongbi Desert | Queen Spider (every 4 hours) |
| 2nd floor | Chuk-Sal on the 1st floor, one Passage Ticket per entry | Queen Spider (every 30 minutes) |
| 3rd floor | The portal at the end of the 2nd floor | Bestial poison spiders |
| Spider Queen's Nest | Gravestone on the 3rd floor, Arachnids Key | Spider Baron and Spider Baroness |
The first floor has no Metin stones, but the official wiki calls it a popular spot for grinding and leveling. The monsters on the 2nd floor may look familiar, but they're much stronger than those in the Yongbi Desert. The 2nd and 3rd floors have a teleport restriction: the Scroll of the Location, the Wedding Ring and the Teleportation Ring can't be used. So if you run out of potions inside, you can't escape easily.
Get to know the Queen Spider
The Queen Spider is a level 60 boss that appears on both the 1st and 2nd floors. Both versions have the same HP, but they spawn at very different rates: on the 1st floor it shows up at a random spot on the map every 4 hours, on the 2nd floor every 30 minutes. For regular hunting, the 2nd floor is far more efficient.
- Aggressive: It attacks players who come near on its own; finish your preparations before you approach it.
- Summons soldiers: During the fight it calls Soldier Poison Spiders for help.
- Deals magic and skill damage: Magic Resistance and Resistance against Skill Damage reduce the damage you take from it; its attacks can also poison you.
- Drains SP: According to the wiki, you lose 5 SP per hit; if you run out of Blue Potions, you can't use your skills.
- Has a huge HP pool: The fight takes a while, so stock your potions accordingly.
How do you kill the Queen Spider?
- Clear the area: Since the boss is aggressive, clear the nearby spiders to open up space before you get close to it.
- Assign roles: While a sturdy character pulls the summoned soldiers, the damage dealers should hit only the queen.
- Pick your defense accordingly: Gear with Magic Resistance and Resistance against Skill Damage lowers the damage the queen deals to you, so your potions last longer and the fight is easier to keep going.
- Keep your buffs up: The fight is long; renew your buff skills when they run out and keep the heals coming.

What does the Queen Spider drop?
According to the official wiki, the Queen Spider doesn't drop weapons, armor or jewelry directly. Instead, it can drop:
- Queen Spider Box: It can contain items such as upgraded weapons, Heaven's Tear jewelry, Blessing Scrolls and Experience Rings.
- Spider Queen's Poison: One of the materials needed for the key to the Spider Queen's Nest.
- Others: Soul Stones, Young Pet Books, the Leaders' Notes required for the biologist quest, shards and potions.
The Spider Queen's Nest
The dungeon's last stop is the Spider Queen's Nest, the Spider Baroness's lair, which you enter through the Gravestone on the 3rd floor.
- Requirements: You need to be at least level 50. You enter the dungeon as a group, and a group has at most 8 players.
- Key: Uriel crafts the Arachnids Key. It takes the Spider Queen's Poison, a Spider's Poison Sack, Spider Legs, a Spider Egg Sack, Spider Eyes and a Spider Web, and the success chance is 50%. The character who crafts the key must first have completed the Access to the Breeding Lair quest.
- Time: You have 20 minutes inside, and the dungeon's cooldown is 1 hour.
- Stages: First defeat the Spider Baron and use the Arachnids Whistle it drops, then defeat the Spider Baroness who appears.
An important tip: every Spider Egg you break increases the damage the Baroness takes, but also raises her attack power. If your group is sturdy, break the eggs and speed up the fight; if not, break fewer eggs and keep the fight balanced, but don't forget the 20-minute limit. The Baroness can drop weapons, shields, armor, jewelry, Passage Tickets and Teleportation Rings.
The Spider Dungeon on Pvp servers
On Pvp servers, the Passage Ticket may be easy to get from the shop or events, or the requirement may be dropped entirely; boss HP and chest contents can also differ. Check the server's description page and Discord announcements before you go in. If you want to warm up with lower-level bosses, our early-level bosses guide is a good start.
