Metin2 Blade-Fight Ninja Guide: Assassin Build and Bonuses

The Blade-Fight Ninja is the class for players who like to hide, slip behind their opponent and end a duel with a single combo. Its light armor leaves no room for mistakes, but with the right build and timing it becomes one of the most feared characters in 1v1 Pvp. This Metin2 Blade-Fight Ninja guide covers the skills, the assassin build's skill order, stat distribution and bonus priorities.

Blade-Fight Ninja skills

The skill names and functions come from the skill pages of the official wiki:

Skill What does it do? Note
Ambush Makes a deadly attack on your opponent. Damage goes up when you hit from behind; scales with Dexterity.
Stealth Hides you. While active, it gives Ambush extra damage.
Fast Attack Rushes at your opponent in an instant and strikes. Hits up to 6 targets.
Rolling Dagger Spins around your opponent with your dagger. Has a chance to poison, up to 3 targets.
Poisonous Cloud Creates a poisonous cloud around your opponent. High chance to poison, hits several targets.
Insidious Poison Vanishes in an instant and makes a poisonous attack on one target. Long cooldown.

According to the official wikis, Ambush deals more damage when it hits the opponent from behind. The bonus Stealth adds to Ambush also grows with skill level. The assassin build rests on this pair.

Why is poison so important?

Three of the Blade-Fight Ninja's skills can poison your opponent. According to the official wiki, poison lasts 30 seconds and takes 5% of the target's max HP every 3 seconds. A poisoned character's HP and SP regeneration stops, and they can only recover HP with potions. Poison can't kill on its own; it leaves the target at 1 HP. You also can't poison an opponent who is 8 or more levels above you. In short, poison is a silent pressure tool that stops your opponent from recovering, especially in long duels.

The assassin build: skill order

The official wiki's Blade-Fight Ninja guide recommends Ambush, Rolling Dagger and Fast Attack for the first three Masters, and tells you to choose between Stealth and Poisonous Cloud for the fourth. For a Pvp-focused assassin, this order makes sense:

  1. Ambush: Your main source of damage.
  2. Fast Attack: Closes the distance in an instant and opens the duel.
  3. Rolling Dagger: Extends your combo and adds a chance to poison.
  4. Stealth: Boosts Ambush's damage; the signature of the assassin build.
  5. Poisonous Cloud: Useful in group fights and while killing monsters.
  6. Insidious Poison: You can level it with your remaining points.

If killing monsters matters more to you, you can move Poisonous Cloud ahead of Stealth.

Stat distribution

According to the stat pages of the official wiki, the stat that really raises a Ninja's attack value is Dexterity; Strength adds far less to it. Ambush scales mainly with Dexterity, and in most of the other attack skills Dexterity also carries more weight than Strength. Dexterity raises your evasion as well.

  • Dexterity (DEX): Your first priority; aim to take it to 90.
  • Strength (STR): Part of the formula for skills such as Rolling Dagger and Fast Attack.
  • Vitality (VIT): Each point raises max HP by 40; you play a fragile class, so don't neglect it.
  • Intelligence (INT): Adds little to an assassin.

The wiki guide recommends taking Strength and Dexterity to 90 for Pvp and putting the remaining points into Vitality. If you die often in duels, moving Vitality up a little is the safer route.

Bonus tips for Pvp

We explain the basics of changing bonuses in our bonus guide. The priorities are based on the official servers' bonus lists; Pvp servers can change bonuses and their caps.

  • Strong against Half Humans: Increases damage against players; make it your first goal.
  • Skill Damage: An assassin deals most of their damage with skills, so it's worth more than Average Damage. On the official servers, these two bonuses only appear on certain weapons, such as level 30, 75 and 105 weapons.
  • Chance for piercing hits: With physical skills, it adds the opponent's defense to your damage. Its chance against players is lower than the bonus value, but it's still valuable for a Ninja who relies on physical skills such as Ambush and Fast Attack.
  • Poisoning chance: Can appear on weapons and helmets; on top of the poison chance of your skills, your gear also gives you a chance to poison your opponent.
  • Max. HP and defenses: Put Defence against faint on your shield, the weapon defense against the class you face most on your armor and jewelry, and Magic Resistance against magic users.

Gameplay tips

  • Use Fast Attack at the right moment: According to the official wiki, it's likely to miss while the opponent is on the ground or on the move; wait for the moment they stand still.
  • Get behind them: Hitting Ambush from behind your opponent, together with the Stealth bonus, deals the highest damage.
  • Hit and run: Pull back after unloading your combo and go in again once your cooldowns are ready. Long toe-to-toe fights aren't a job for a fragile Ninja.
  • Play with daggers: The official wiki's guide recommends using your skills with daggers; otherwise your damage drops noticeably.

Frequently asked questions

Stealth, if you're going to play an assassin in Pvp, because it gives Ambush extra damage. If you'll mostly kill monsters or join group fights, you can put Poisonous Cloud first.
