Metin2 Razador Guide: Red Dragon Fortress Tactics

Razador, the fire dragon (Razadör on the official Turkish wiki), waits for you at the end of the Red Dragon Fortress in Doyyumhwan, a dungeon of seven areas, each with its own task. Here are the entry requirements of the Metin2 Razador dungeon, the tasks area by area and the tricks to beating the dragon. The information follows the official servers; Pvp servers can change the requirements, the time limit and the rewards.

Red Dragon Fortress entry requirements

• Entry: You get in by talking to the Fireland Guard in Doyyumhwan.
• Level: You can enter from level 100.
• Group: You can only enter as a group, and every group member needs a Passage Ticket. According to the official English wiki, the group leader requests entry.
• Time: According to the official English wiki, you have 1 hour for all seven tasks.
• Cooldown: After leaving the dungeon, you have to wait 30 minutes before you can enter again.
• Disconnects: According to the official English wiki, if you disconnect or restart in the city, you have 5 minutes to get back in.

Seven areas, seven tasks

According to the official English wiki, after each task you talk to the NPC in the middle of the area again to start the next one.

Areas 1 and 3: Kill all monsters

Here your only goal is to clear every monster on the map. Splitting the group in two to sweep the area in parallel saves time.

Area 2: Golden Cog Wheel

Kill monsters to collect Golden Cog Wheels and drag them onto the Isfet Stele in the middle of the area until you find the right one; take every wheel that drops to the stele right away.

Area 4: Ignitor

Here you have to kill the level 107 Ignitor. Its hits double in strength when its HP gets low. It doesn't drop weapons, armor or jewelry, but it can drop materials such as Red Dragon Steel and Mithril.

Area 5: Maat Stone

Collect Maat Stones from monsters and drag them onto the Isfet Steles in the middle of the area; keep going until all the steles are gone. According to the official English wiki, if you pick the wrong stele, the stone disappears, so don't rush.

Area 6: Purgatory Fire Metin

Destroy the Purgatory Fire Metin in the area. High-damage players hit the Metin while the others hold off the monsters around it.

Area 7: Razador

In the last area, you face the dungeon's boss, Razador.

Know Razador: the doubling mechanic

Razador is a level 108 boss of the fire element. During the fight, it summons the level 105 Ember Flame General; its hits stun and knock back, and when its HP gets low, they double in strength. It also deals skill damage, so the Resistance against Skill Damage bonus reduces the damage you take from it.

The key thing to know: according to the official Turkish wiki, Razador can double the skills it hits with. However, if you attack from right up against it, the doubling is blocked and the damage you take goes down. So distance won't protect you here; staying close to the dragon is actually safer.

Razador tactics

1. Fight up close: Melee fighters stay at Razador's side, and ranged fighters stand as close to it as they can.
2. Split off the General: A tanky character should pull the Ember Flame General onto themselves; that way, the rest of the group can focus on Razador. For this role, check out our Mental Warrior guide.
3. Prepare for fire: Since Razador is a fire-element boss, gear that gives fire resistance takes weight off the group.
4. Save your healing for the end: Its hits get harder when its HP is low; in this phase, the healer has to keep the whole group alive. We covered group healing in our Healing Force Shaman guide.
5. Manage your time: You have 1 hour in total. If you dawdle on the collection tasks in areas 2 and 5, you'll reach Razador with little time left.

What does Razador drop?

According to the official wiki, Razador can drop:

• Razador's Chest: Can contain weapons such as the Poison Sword and Grudge Sword, armor, shields, Amethyst, Heaven's Tear and Crystal jewelry, Flame of the Dragon and pet items.
• Valuable items: Blessing Scroll, Goddess Tear, Book of Forgetfulness, Blood Pill, Thief's Gloves and Bravery Cape.
• Others: Powershards, Soul Stone, Leaders' Notes and Leaders' Soul Stone.

Razador on Pvp servers

On Pvp servers, Razador's HP, the Passage Ticket requirement, the time limit and the chest contents can all be changed; some servers may open the dungeon at a lower level.
