Metin2 Weaponry Sura Guide: Skills, Stats and Bonuses
The Weaponry Sura empowers their sword with magic, steals HP with every hit, reflects melee attacks back and can wipe out all of an opponent's buffs in one move. Packing offense, defense and self-healing into a single build makes them a tough opponent in melee. This Metin2 Weaponry Sura guide covers the skills, skill order, stat distribution and bonus priorities for Pvp.
The skills that make the Weaponry Sura dangerous
The information below is based on the skill pages of the official wiki:
| Skill | Type | What does it do? |
|---|---|---|
| Enchanted Blade | Buff (toggle) | Raises attack value and lets you steal HP with physical attacks; uses SP every second while active. |
| Enchanted Armour | Buff | Raises your defense and reflects part of melee hits back to the attacker. |
| Dispel | Magic attack | Removes the opponent's beneficial effects with a chance that grows with skill level; hits up to 5 targets. |
| Fear | Buff | Gives a chance to dodge arrows and reduces the damage you take from the opponent's regular hits. |
| Finger Strike | Physical attack | Creates an explosion from your fingertips; has a chance of piercing hits. |
| Dragon Swirl | Physical attack | Creates a whirlwind that hits up to 12 targets. |
According to the official wiki, HP stealing is unique to the Weaponry Sura and kicks in on physical attacks with a high, fixed chance. When Dispel lands, buffs such as Aura of the Sword, Berserk, Strong Body, Stealth, Blessing and Attack Up are removed, and as long as the effect lasts, the opponent can't use a new buff skill. Potion effects are exempt from this restriction.
There's no single right answer: the official wiki's English, German and Romanian Sura pages recommend the Black Magic Sura for Pvp and the Weaponry Sura for killing monsters. The Polish Sura page, however, says Weaponry can be very good in Pvp too, but only at higher levels. What makes Weaponry stand out is that it combines offense, defense and HP stealing in one character in melee; which branch is stronger depends on the server's balance, level range and equipment.
Skill order
The official wiki's Weaponry guide focuses on killing monsters and recommends starting with Enchanted Blade, then moving on to Enchanted Armour and Dragon Swirl; it considers Dispel valuable "only for Pvp". For a Pvp-focused Sura, this order makes sense:
- Enchanted Blade: The source of both your damage and your HP stealing.
- Enchanted Armour: Gives defense and reflection against melee fighters.
- Dispel: Turns the duel in your favor by removing the opponent's buffs.
- Finger Strike: Becomes your main attack skill, hitting up to 4 opponents in front of you.
- Fear: Useful against opponents who rely on regular hits and regular arrow shots.
- Dragon Swirl: An area skill you can move up while killing monsters.
If leveling speed matters to you, you can put Dragon Swirl ahead of Dispel; once you reach a decent level, you switch back to your Pvp skills.
Stat distribution
According to the skill formulas on the official wiki, Enchanted Blade, Enchanted Armour and Dispel scale with Intelligence; in Finger Strike and Dragon Swirl, too, Intelligence carries more weight than Strength. Strength, on the other hand, raises the Sura's attack value and regular-hit damage.
- Intelligence (INT): The power behind your buffs and skills; your first priority.
- Vitality (VIT): Each point raises max HP by 40; it keeps you standing in melee.
- Strength (STR): Feeds your regular hits and therefore your HP stealing.
- Dexterity (DEX): Raises the multiplier on your weapon's attack and your evasion; it usually comes last.
The wiki's monster-killing guide recommends raising Intelligence and then Vitality to 90 and putting the rest into Dexterity. Since you'll also use your regular hits in Pvp, making room for Strength after Vitality is a balanced choice.
Bonus tips for Pvp
We explain how to change bonuses in our bonus guide. The tips are based on the official servers' bonus lists; Pvp servers can change these lists.
- Strong against Half Humans: Increases damage against players; your first goal.
- Average Damage or Skill Damage? Since you both deal damage and steal HP with regular hits, Average Damage suits this Sura very well. If you rely on Finger Strike combos, go for Skill Damage. On the official servers, these two bonuses only appear on certain weapons, such as level 30, 75 and 105 weapons.
- Casting speed: Shortens your skill cooldowns, so you can use Dispel more often.
- Max. HP and Defence against faint: The moment you're stunned, your Dispel and combo timing falls apart.
- Magic Resistance: Reduces the damage you take from Black Magic Sura and Shaman spells; it matters because Enchanted Armour doesn't reflect these attacks.
Gameplay tips
- Use Dispel at the right moment: Cast it right after your opponent turns on their buffs; while the effect lasts, they can't turn them back on.
- Watch your SP: Enchanted Blade drains SP as long as it stays on. Keep your Blue Potions on your quickslot bar.
- Stay at close range: HP stealing and reflection work in melee. Enchanted Armour doesn't reflect ranged attacks. Fear's chance to dodge arrows can nullify regular arrow shots, but according to the official wiki it doesn't block an Archery Ninja's skills, so close the distance quickly against archers.
- Watch out for Warriors: Be ready for the Body Warrior's Dash stun; for tactics, see our Pvp against Warriors article.

Frequently asked questions
What's the most important stat for a Weaponry Sura?
Intelligence. Enchanted Blade, Enchanted Armour and Dispel all scale with it. Raise Vitality early as well, so you stay standing in melee.
Which effects does Dispel remove?
According to the official wiki, when it lands it removes all of the opponent's beneficial buffs and doesn't let them activate a new one while the effect lasts. The chance of it landing grows with skill level; potion effects aren't affected.
Does HP stealing work in Pvp?
Yes. According to the official wiki, the HP stealing from Enchanted Blade works on physical attacks against players, monsters and Metin stones.
Which is better, Weaponry or Black Magic?
It comes down to play style: if you like melee, Weaponry suits you better; if you prefer dealing magic damage from range, Black Magic does. The official wikis recommend Black Magic for Pvp and Weaponry for killing monsters. For a general comparison of the classes, see our character selection guide.
