Where Does the Metin2 Enchant Item Drop? Fastest Ways to Farm It

The Enchant Item swaps the bonuses on your gear for new ones, and it's one of the items you burn through fastest while building your character. Hitting the bonuses you want often takes dozens of tries, which is why "where does the Metin2 Enchant Item drop?" is on nearly every player's mind. Here you'll find the bosses, Metins and chests that drop it according to the official wiki, where to farm at your level, and tips to collect faster. The information is based on the official servers; Pvp servers can change drops and drop rates.

What does the Enchant Item do?

The Enchant Item deletes bonuses 1-5 on your item and adds new ones in their place. The 6th and 7th bonuses aren't affected. Before you start farming, learn to tell two similar items apart:

• Enchant Item B: Does the same job, but the bonuses it rolls have lower percentages. On the official servers, it can't be put in the trade or shop window.
• Reinforce Item: Doesn't change bonuses; it adds a new bonus to an item, up to a maximum of 4 bonuses.

Where does the Enchant Item drop on the official servers?

According to the official wiki, the only monster that drops the Enchant Item directly is Beran-Setaou, and the only Metin is the Sung Ma Invasion Portal. All the other sources are chests or rewards:

Not every one of these chests gives an Enchant Item when opened; it's just one of each chest's possible rewards. Since the wiki doesn't list ordinary Metin stones as a source, breaking Metins for this item on the official servers is a waste of time.

The fastest way to farm at your level

Level 60-90: Biologist chests

Biologist Chaegirab's quests give a Lightgreen Ebony Box at level 60, a Green Ebony Box at level 70, a Blue Ebony Box at levels 80 and 90, and a Crimson Ebony Box at level 85. Level 75 and above: the Blue Dragon

The most efficient source is Beran-Setaou. You enter the Dragon's Temple through the Ghost of a Sura on the second floor of the Grotto of Exile; the group must have 2-8 players, and there's a 60-minute time limit. The dragon drops the Enchant Item directly and also leaves 8-10 Beran-Setaou's Chests, whose possible rewards include 3 Enchant Items. With the entry items, you can go in 6 times a day. Level 90 and above: Ship Defence

In this dungeon, which you enter through the Fisherman on Cape Dragon Fire, Hydra's Treasure Chest appears once Hydra is defeated. It can drop Hydra's Chest, which may contain an Enchant Item, as well as Enchant Item B directly. Every group member needs a Passage Ticket, and at least 20 minutes must pass between two entries.

Level 120 and beyond: Yohara

In Dong Gwang Plain on the new continent of Yohara, the Sung Ma Invasion takes place every day; you can enter the portal between 21:30 and 21:33 Turkish time (UTC+3) and take part at most 4 times a week. Each of the 6 Sung Ma Invasion Portals inside can drop an Enchant Item. Finishing the Serpent Temple gets you 8 Serpent Treasures, and defeating Alastor in the Northwind Deeps gets you 8 Wh. Dragon Chests.

Tips to speed up collecting

• Boost your drop chance: On the official servers, Thief's Gloves raise your item drop chance; the 3-hour version doubles it for its duration. Put them on before boss runs.
• Don't waste your entries: The Blue Dragon works with daily entries, the Sung Ma Invasion with weekly ones. An entry you miss doesn't come back.
• Go in as a group: The faster the boss dies, the more runs you get.
• Keep an eye on chest trading: On the official servers, Beran-Setaou's Chest, Hydra's Chest and the Ebony Boxes can be traded. Whether the Enchant Item itself can be traded depends on where it came from; the item's description tells you.

Things may be different on Pvp servers

Pvp servers set drops according to their own design. Some add the Enchant Item to Metin stones or bosses, some sell it in an in-game shop, and some keep the official setup. If your server doesn't have Yohara or the Sung Ma Invasion, those sources don't exist either. Before you start farming, check the server's drop list, forum or the guides on its Discord. Frequently asked questions

Does the Enchant Item drop from Metin stones?

The only Metin the official wiki lists is the Sung Ma Invasion Portal, which appears during the Sung Ma Invasion. On Pvp servers, the Enchant Item may have been added to ordinary Metins; check the server's drop list.

What's the difference between the Enchant Item and Enchant Item B?

Both change bonuses 1-5. The bonuses rolled with version B have lower percentages, so use the regular Enchant Item on valuable gear.

How do you get Enchant Items at a low level?

On the official servers, the Ebony Boxes from the biologist quests are your first source, from level 60 on. Once you reach level 75, joining a group heading to the Blue Dragon is the fastest way.

Can you sell the Enchant Item on the market?

On the official servers, it depends on how the item was obtained, and the item's description says so. On Pvp servers, market rules vary from server to server.
